FINALLY! A topic i have a response to!!
I'm quite good at missing out on trends, actually. I tend to get into them after the fact. I became obsessed with Friends a few months after the last episode aired. My sister liked the show and I watched the finale and all of the shows they had on around the finale with clips and I loved it and a few months later on a trip to Disneyland we were fighting over what to watch in the car and decided on Friends. Now I am beyond obsessed and have seen every episode a good 10 or so times and have almost the entire series memorized. I dunno whether to be proud of this or feel as if I need more of a life...
Anyways, next was Buffy. Obviously, starting it in November last year when it ended back in 2003. However, again, I have made up for lost time and am head over heels in love with this show <3
Now, as for trends that I just completely missed:
-Pokemon: I just never cared...
-Backstreet Boys: I was an *Nsync girl
-Scooby: I just never watched it and no one ever brought it up to me as if I should haha
-Farmville: I do not understand why everyone is so addicted to this game and I refuse to play. It's actually pretty sad, my friend's mom who I've known since I was about four plays constantly and spent a good few weeks trying to convince my sister and I to play with no luck xD
Now, out of all of these I doubt I would have really enjoyed any of them, though I guess I've never know for sure.
And just for kicks, here are a list of trends I caught onto just in time:
-Harry Potter (!!!)
-Twitter
-American Idol (though I am done with this show now because it's gotten very lame >.> )
-Smart Mouths (from episode 1)
-MuggleCast (from episode 33; so fairly early on)
Okay, now I'm just dragging this out to avoid studying for finals lol. I have three days of testing next week and then I'm doneeeee *thank god.* Though I do start summer school June 1st but we're forgetting that for right now and just celebrating the end of this semester.
Have a good weekend, all three of you who read this xD

...
Cherry coke and ninja turtles? *sigh*
I enjoy regular coke but that's prettyyyy much it; all the others like vanilla coke or diet coke I hate and I would rather just drink water. And I never watched/cared for the ninja turtles.
Again, this was boring. I would add something not boring but the only things I've done this week besides work, school, and studying is watch 12 hours of Gilmore Girls yesterday and 6 hours of Buffy today so that leaves me with an insanely boring blog. My life is fascinating...
Enjoy your weekend, guys =)

*Sigh*
Seriously man this blog idea is going to be hard if I keep having nothing to say about the 5AG theme each week!
I hate musicals. I'm the black sheep in my family since they all really enjoy musicals and I never want to watch any musical ever.
As for my city, I live in Las Vegas so it's pretty well known to all. The Strip is nice; I don't go there often. It's fun sometimes during the day to walk around because it's beautiful but ugh tourists and drunk people and naked girls on billboards...all of that stuff is not beautiful.

This is the beauty I mean. Every year I try and go to the ACM orange carpet and meet celebrities because I enjoy country music. Back in 2008 my friend was stupid and didn't listen to me so we ended up being way late to the carpet. For those of you who haven't been to red carpets, when you are going to be late you might as well not go at all.
Now, as it turns out, the ACMs that year were May 18th and I was going to a Carrie Underwood concert the next day where I won a Meet & Greet pass from her fan club. Since I mainly go for Carrie, because I adore her, and we were late, we ended up walking around and going to an arcade. I won this giraffe (whom I named Carrie lol) and took this picture of her outside of the Excalibur.
I don't know why I thought you cared about this story at all but whatever. This is the Vegas strip I like.
Btw, I don't think anyone is reading this at all but if you are just leave a brief comment maybe? I'm going to continue doing this regardless because it's fun for me to do but it will make it easier for me to write if I don't feel like it's completely to myself lol.

Shakespeare?
....I seriously have nothing to say about Shakespeare. I don't enjoy plays so I never really enjoyed anything of his. The only thing I remember reading and liking was Wishbone's version of Romeo and Juliet and that was mainly because Wishbone was(is) awesome. Also right now this is just coming into my mind, in Harriet the Spy didn't they read Hamlet? Who the heck reach Hamlet in 6th grade?! Anyways, this is literally all I have to say about Shakespeare. Sorry to any lit/Shakespeare nerds who are not reading this and are offended by my answer but I don't enjoy reading him at all. I respect that many people like him, but I'd much rather read something else (like Will Grayson, Will Grayson which was a super awesome book!)
Hopefully next week's topic is better for me to blog about =)

Nick Names
So I'm following Ariel's lead and I'm going to (try) and post a blog each week with my response to the 5AG's theme of the week. And let me just say, I am probably more excited than I should be about this idea.
Every time I watch a 5AG video, I want to respond so badly with my answer and now, I CAN! I may even go back and write responses to past weeks' themes if I get bored...
ANYWAYS this week's theme: Nick Names!
One thing most people don't know about me is that I love shortening names. Like I had this friend named Rayneen and it literally killed me that I couldn't call her Rain because I thought it was such a pretty nick name and she did not agree. However, with my name being Sarah, shortening is sorta kinda impossible =/
Since that doesn't work with my name, when I was a kid my parents called my Sarah Beara or Sarbear. I once actually got confused in elementary school and when they asked for nick names on information sheets I thought they just meant in general so sometimes I'd put Sarah Beara. It would be hilarious if right now I could say I had a teacher that called me that but, sadly, no one did.
My friends have some nick names for me, most don't stick though. A group of friends I had called me Rabies after I told them a story about how I got bit by a dog and had to go to the ER to make sure I didn't have rabies. My other friend called me Ed for a while because while IMing her one night instead of writing "I'm going to bed" I wrote "I'm going to b ed" so she responded by saying "okay Ed" and thus the nick name began.
That same friend calls me Vegas since she knows a lot of Sarahs and I'm her only friend that lives in Vegas. She also calls me Bitsy because of a running joke we have with a Friends quote (the one where Phoebe meets Mike's parents and puts on that irritating high pitch voice and says "Theodore, Bitsy, it's such a delight.")
When I was in high school, some classmates and teachers used to call me Kelly since I was so obsessed with Kelly Clarkson (I don't know why I said was, I still am very obsessed...)
I've never realized until name how many nick names I have had in my life. As I said before though, when people are talking to me, they mainly refer to me as Sarah or Vegas for my friends out of state. The rest were just apart of jokes or have stopped being used.
