I've actually been considering making myself a new playlist for the past few days because I normally just listen to my big playlist with most my songs and just skip whatever I don't feel like listening to but my playlist is 700-something songs and I've really only felt like listening to a few different artists, albums, and songs. Meh Hanukkah Gifts =D
As a response to Ariel's blog, I have decided to show off as well. I actually didn't really get gifts BUT I did buy myself some stuff and get one VERY awesome gift from my mom.
During winter break, Sarah was introduced to Buffy the Vampire Slayer by a friend and she finished the entire series within 2 weeks and became obsesseddddd. Sooooo mom was nice and bought me THIS:
It's the Chosen Collection which, if you are unaware, is the complete series on DVD in a really spiffy box =D. I haven't received it yet but I am beyond excited to get it!
Going along with this new obsession, I purchased a few things for myself because one gift made me feel kinda sad so I was nice to myself haha. I bought both of these things:
I got the shirt in the mail today and plan to wear it on my first day back to school on Monday and the calendar should arrive soon.
Overall, I am very happy with my gifts. ^_^

College Difficulties
It's 5pm on a Tuesday evening. I've been out of class for 3 hours and what have I gotten accomplished?...I read all the press stuff for the Wizarding World news today (DO EXCITED TO GO FOR INFINITUS!!) and read two more chapters of the Hunger Games. I really, really should not have started this book. Anybody reading this who hasn't read this book should go pick it up now. Every second I'm not reading it I'm thinking about when I'll next be able to pick it up. Not good when I have tons of other reading I should be getting done right now...
I haven't written much since summer ended but I decided to write something now because I was lonely and wanted to type some things out. Talking/typing through things always helps me understand what I need to do. I was reading the Hunger Games because I realized I only had reading stuff to do and I'd be able to get it done tomorrow after work so I was taking advantage of being alone in my dorm room by playing music without headphones and sinking into my bed with my book. Once my roommate got back, however, I started to feel lazy just reading my book when I have things to get done. I hardly ever procrastinate but I just can't help but put off my readings because A) I like having them fresh in my head for the class, especially in my class where we get quizzed every Thursday on them so reading them too far in advance seems silly to me and B) it pains me to be reading something that is not the Hunger Games!
I've never liked being assigned novels for school. It's just irritating when you have to read for school when you could be reading for fun. I'm hoping to be able to finish Hunger Games this week and Catching Fire the next then willing myself not to start reading anything else until I finish my school books. The only thing I'll allow is rereading DH because I can't always be reading for school and I can handle knowing I'm reading for school when I have DH waiting for me than knowing I have a book I have never read before just waiting to be finished.
Aside from my procrastination and current reading frenzy (I've finish 19 Minutes, Key to the Golden Firebird and half of Hunger Games within these 3 weeks of school) I'm liking college and am having a fairly easy time adjusting. I've been going home every weekend which is nice and I'll be going home tonight to watch Big Brother finale (Go Jordan!) and Gossip Girl premier (both myself and my roommate were working all night so I felt to horrible putting the tv on to watch it.) Until then, I would like to say I'm off to be productive but who am I kidding? I'm off to read the Hunger Games!

Ummm I'm not at home right now but I think I have the most of Deathly Hallows..I should have about 5-6.

I'm bored and felt like blogging...Ever just feel like you wanted to think things through either by talking to someone or writing it down? I was feeling like that but didn't have anyone to call so basically I've decided to use my blog as a way to think through what I am currently doing.
I'm moving into my dorm room in less than 2 weeks. This is nuts. I've been putting together frames with pictures of my dogs and other things from Azkatraz and concerts and such and figuring out what posters I want to put up. I bought this gorgeous poster of the UK adult cover of HBP. Gahh I can't wait til I get it, I'm so in love <3. Now I am currently making lists of what to bring with me in hopes that I can narrow it down to a managable number.
Some things are just down right for sure coming like all my HP books and dvds (well, not all but a copy of each book and dvd) and all my Friends dvds. Other things, however, I would like to bring but I don't know if I need to bring. I'm still living about 20-25 minutes from my house and my sister goes to the same school and is living at home--if I ever really want a book/dvd, I can ask her to bring it up to me or just wait til I go home next and pick it up.
Despite knowing this, I'm having trouble deciding what to bring and what to leave. I feel secure knowing that if I want to randomly reread a book or watch something, it's in my room and I'm able to pick it up to read/watch easily. The idea that I may have a time where I want to watch/read something that's at my house when I'm in my dorm irks me.
My problem with dvds are my tv shows. I have all 7 seasons of Gilmore Girls, all 10 of Friends, 1 of Jon and Kate Plus Eight, one 18 Kids and Counting (don't laugh), one Gossip Girl, 4 and soon to be 5 seasons of Medium, etc. These take up a LOT of room. And I only have a 4-shelf bookcase.
Books are hard because I reread books so often that I can't just bring new books that are on my two read list. The only thing I'm able to go off of it which I've reread recently and therefore am unlikely to read again until the fall. Books like Bermudez Triangle and My Sister's Keeper.
At this moment I have a list of 18 dvds, 14 seasons, and 18 books. College is difficult.

HBP
I have now seen this movie 3 times: Once at midnight, once at Azkatraz's midnight showing, and once with my sister who did not want to go and see it haha. Before the midnight showing, I had read up to page 500 and the morning of Azkatraz's showing I had finished the book, the 3rd time was 2 weeks after reading it. Each time I loved it more and more. My thoughts:
Positives:
-EXACT QUOTES FTW!!! "You can't break an unbreakable vow," the song Hagrid and Slughorn sing, kjsdfhsdkjgdsj it was brilliant. I felt like I had jumped into the book which is what the movies SHOULD feel like! For the first time, I can view the movies and books as the same series instead of two different stories in order to not kill myself.
-Evanna Lynch. My Luna <3 All her randomness just reminds me how much I adore Luna and what her character adds to the story.
-Train scene. It was different, but it worked amazingly. Tonks would have made more sense but all was forgiven for me when Luna started talking and just being Luna. "I am your friend Luna." "That'e nice."
-Felixxxxxxx just beyond words brilliant. This whole scene in particular just felt like the book. Everything was just perfect and hilarious and jksgfgf I adore this scene <3
-The memories were done very well. Tom Riddle was a creepy child/teen and it was just brilliant to see. Would have liked the others but I guess you can't have everything *shrugs.* The Gaunts would have really been nice though...
-Ron/Hermione stuff. The movies have totally seemed like Harry/Hermione for me up until this point so it was nice seeing the shift. The awkward teenage hormones were hilarious XD
-Draco. Nuff said.
-Fred and George's quick joke in the joke shop of telling Ron it was 10 galleons when he said I'm your brother. That's just sooo them and jfggsd they were in for like 2.5 seconds of the movie but, for me, this one line made it feel like they were in for much longer because it was just such a great moment that it stuck.
More is good, but I'm going nuts so Negatives:
-Flitwick? "Urgent choir practice." Wtf? I have never understood this choir thing and it was just really odd.
-Why the heck did Hermione get drunk off of butterbeer? And how did everyone just have basically no reaction to Katie? Why wasn't Leanne upset when talking to McGonagall? Just what? This scene wasn't really enough for me...
-Ginny was such a creeper. Why did she TIE HIS SHOES?! Throughout Azkatraz everyone kept making random jokes about how hot that was and it was hilarious. These jokes are the only reason this scene doesn't make me kill myself.
-Harry just has no idea about the otehr horcruxes? He's just gonna guess, is he? That'll be interesting...
-HI, ELDER WAND! HOW CONVENIENT OF YOU TO JUST BE SITTING ONTOP OF THE DESK! VOLDEMORT WILL BE THRILLED THAT HIS WORK IS DONE FOR HIM =D
-Train scene with creepy girl hitting on Harry? Awkwarddddddd.
-Dumbledore telling the ENTIRE SCHOOL about Tom. That just irked me...

I haven't written anything in a while. This blog is going to just be random sentences. I'm sorry that I have no energy to string said sentences together to form actual paragraphs.
I went to California on July 13th.
Saw HBP at midnight. Looooooooved it <3
Left friend's house to go to Parc 55 for Azkatraz on the 16th.
Saw HBP again. Still enjoyed it.
Azkatraz started. Did many things.
Went on boat for first time with Wrock Around the Rock. Twas fun experience.
Fangirled a lot.
Hung out with some awesome people.
Went to some cool sessions.
Stayed up really late. Barely ate anything that wasn't free XD
Came home on Tuesday.
Wednesday I went to PotterCast/Remus Lupins tour in Vegas. Twas fun and exciting.
Now my week of Potter is complete and I am sad.
Trying desperately to catch up on lost sleep and fulfill my post-Azkatraz check list.
Soon, I will hopefully have my journal written. I took notes and journal will probably be over 10 pages. Yes, I am putting this off because thinking about these events will make me sader and also writing that much seems tiring.
Chris Rankin was there! He's a cool dude.

Went to some cool sessions.
Stayed up really late. Barely ate anything that wasn't free XD
Came home on Tuesday.
Wednesday I went to PotterCast/Remus Lupins tour in Vegas. Twas fun and exciting.
Now my week of Potter is complete and I am sad.
Trying desperately to catch up on lost sleep and fulfill my post-Azkatraz check list.
Soon, I will hopefully have my journal written. I took notes and journal will probably be over 10 pages. Yes, I am putting this off because thinking about these events will make me sader and also writing that much seems tiring.
Chris Rankin was there! He's a cool dude.
Done with random sentences. Once I finish journal, I will probably post it here in parts, Kristina Horner and John Green style.
